Man and woman in their 20s killed in horror BMW crash as driver severely injured

A driver is seriously injured and their two passengers – both in their 20s – have died in a horrific car crash today.

The black BMW M3 left the A2 near Dartford Heath, Kent, and overturned at around 10.30am.

Emergency services rushed to the smash but the two passengers – a man and a woman both in their 20s – were pronounced dead there.

South East Coast Ambulance Service, Kent Fire and Rescue Service and the air ambulance were called to the crash. Photographs shared on social media show several ambulance personnel on the dual-carriageway, which was closed as a result of the incident.

A red air ambulance is also snapped at the scene.

Now Kent Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash, as the driver remains in a London hospital with severe injuries.

Officers continue to carry out enquiries on the A2.

They want to talk to anyone who saw what happened, or has relevant dashcam footage.
